The Daily Driver is a collection of insights, musing, ramblings, and inane babblings.

Why I feel it necessary to share these things with anyone is a complete mystery. I blame the Internet. To expect posts to appear here daily or to actually go anywhere (as the blog title may suggest) is futile.

It’s best to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the drive.

I enjoy thinking about writing, talking about writing, writing about writing, and even sometimes actually writing.

  1. I Jim. Thank you for following me and I will follow back, but not because you are now following me. I really like your style of being, of writing, and by being enriched by your self-expression, makes me smile. By the way, you were an adorable child!

    1. You’re very kind , Karen! I need to carve out more time (and soon) to read all the wonderful stuff out there. Your blog looks like it may contain a treasure trove of goodies! I can’t wait! There’s so much to learn and explore. And the wonder of “connection,” to know my writing can make someone smile… Well, that’s pretty amazing! Thanks!
PS: And yes, I was an adorable child, but Nature has a way of balancing those things out, don’t you know!

  2. I am here in your page, I have been already there, but decided to come back…I felt that I need to leave a comment here! You became my very supportive friend and I would like to thank you for it very much! And when I occurred here I was surprised to see your childhood photo, is it you? You are such a cute kid, very positive one! Were you alone in the family?
You have an unusual title of the blog, it makes me think a lot…I suppose life is about the constant drive towards our goals, am I right? There is a good point in it, sometimes I feel that we need to be able to stop as well and enjoy the moment, it’s quite important. What can I tell you I like your blog and will start walking here and leave my feet prints…so do not be afraid! I take time to taste it and share with you my thoughts…
My big pleasure to meet you! stay in touch! By the way, in some minutes you will get something…

    1. I see I didn’t answer your question: I have an older brother and twin younger sisters. In two posts about Christmas I posted some photos of us (of course you can only see my face in them, because why would anyone want to see anyone else’s)! Ha!

  3. It’s great to have met you, I’m always looking to discover different bloggers and I’ll let you in on a secret – those that contain “insights, musing, ramblings, and inane babblings” are some of my favourites. I will certainly explore your pages in the not so distant future!

    1. Thanks, Evey! My father’s family was Irish, my mother’s Scots (McNenney). I like to joke because of that I like to drink but I don’t like paying! Ha!
Welcome to The Daily Driver, I hope you enjoy what you find here!

    1. Ha! Good to hear from you, Lexa!! I hope you’ve been well. My book? Well, it’s turned into maybe two books! I’m not making tremendous progress (just a little) but I certainly appreciate you checking in about it from all the way over there!
